The Horoscope is part of the science of astrology and is represented by a chart or diagram showing the positions of the Sun and Moon, and planets at an event like somebody`s birth. Horoscope in greek means „ a look at the hours” and usually this particular name is also known as : astrological chart, zodiac etc. In daily use the horoscope shows predictions for that day, that week or month, for each zodiac sign. There are 12 signs : Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Saggitarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces. People have different characteristics determined by their sign and their ascendent. The ascendent is calculated with the help of the exact hour you were born. The entire science of astrology, is very fascinating. It`s an interestig thing to be able to read the stars and say what`s going to be in the future. The horoscope is an exact science, so it can`t be lies like when going to a fortune teller. The horoscope usually tells you common things, like „ today you are going the receive some good news” or „ during next week you are going to meet somebody new or a friend you haven`t seen for a long time „. There are people who don`t believe in horoscope and there are others for whom the horoscope is their guidance every day.

In the Chinese horoscope, the basic elements are Metal, Water, Wood, Fire and Earth, and these elements are combined with the twelve animal signs of Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Lamb, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig. Everyone has a corespondent in the chinese horoscope, even if it`s calculated differently. The horoscope can be interpreted in many ways, you just need to know that you make your own destiny, no matter what the stars have stored for us.
